In her twenties, Erin Potts co-founded the Tibetan Freedom Concerts with Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys. Guided by Emma Goldman’s reminder, “If I can’t dance, I don’t want your revolution,” she has spent the last 30 years helping artists, audiences and activists turn their love of music and culture into lasting change. Season One traces her story from a young music fan to co-founder of the largest concerts for freedom in history.

For more than 25 years, Tibetan activist Deyden Tethong has brought artists, communities and movements together in the fight for human rights and freedom in Tibet and around the world. In Season One, Deyden invites listeners into that story, connecting the concerts to the ongoing courage and resistance of the Tibetan people today.
